Lincoln County Schools Participate in Child Find

The Lincoln County Board of Education is looking for children age 3-21 that may have a suspected disability.   If your child displays signs of developmental delay, failure in school, communication needs, severe behavior issues and/or any condition that would keep a child from being successful in school, please call Dr. Howie Gunby with the Special Education Department, at the Lincoln County Board of Education for further guidance at (706)359-3742.

 


 Notice to Home School Parents

The Lincoln County Board of Education is looking for children age 5-21 that are being home schooled that received special education services while enrolled in public school. Please call Dr. Howie Gunby, with the Special Education Department, at the Lincoln County Board of Education for further guidance at (706)359-3742 by October 1, 2021.

 

Notice to Parents of Former Special Education Children

Special Education records maintained at the Lincoln County Board of Education will not be retained after a child’s 22nd birthday.  If a parent or student would like to have these records, please call the Board of Education by July 30, 2021 and speak with Dr. Howie Gunby or Mrs. Carla Matthews at 706-359-3512.
