Students may wear a hat to school for $1 on March 18, 2026, as part of the 2026 Georgia Statewide Day of Service. All of the of the proceeds collected will be donated to 2 local non-profit organizations: LC Paws and Lincolnton Food Pantry.

5th grader Charlie Mae moon led the prayer and pledge at the February BOE meeting. We are so proud of the developing leadership skills in our students.

It’s Children’s Dental Health Month, and Help a Child will be on our campus in March. Parents are encouraged to sign up their child for the in-school dental program as soon as possible. Our 5th grade students enjoyed a field trip to the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center (RPSEC) at the University of South Carolina Aiken. RPSEC is a hands on STEM learning facility for K-12 students, teachers, and the public, featuring the DuPont Planetarium, a mineral gallery, and various labs and exhibits. The center's goal is to inspire interest in science, technology, engineering, and math through interactive experiences and innovative instruction.
